New Year's Eve 2006

Same like every year (2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006) all we had for a new year 2007 was well, they had fareground rides but what's the point when every year mama says 'NO'. So we knew that she would never change her mind as every year but you know that old saying 'never give up until you get what you want' (well, it's not really a saying but I think it is). Anyway we tried to persuade her to just have a little ride on the bumper cars but she gets her ways.

Instead, we watched the live concert (I don't know the band name). In London, they had Beyonce and in this other place, Berlin I think, had Robbie Williams. After the countdown, we had the fireworks and after that it started to rain. It was heavy! But we still stay for abit longer to enjoy the live band and the brand new 2007. I got soaked because I didn't wear a hood but I'm not ill though. Aqwa was already ill since he ate that burger that we bought in Conventry. Poor Aqwa. Hope he will get better soon before the school begins.

30 December 2006 - EID

Today is eid but we're not going anywhere because mama wants to study and Aqwa is ill. Since Aqwa is ill he didn't want to come with us when we (me, Abah and Amir) went shopping in ASDA to buy Lucky's (my pet rabbit) food. We only bought 6 things: 2 packs of ice-creams, a bag of rabbit food, 2 packs of crisps and a packet of potatoes. After mama went to her office, aunty Sam invited us to dinner at her house. So we went to aunty Sam's house and had a meal in celebration of Eid. I just got back now and everybody's changed into their pjamas. Mama is studying, Amir is playing with his toy cars, Aqwa is downstairs watching tv, I'm in my room just minding my own business and Abah is still working. Oops! I just heard the front door is closing. Abah is back from work!

Fruit Picking at Berry Hill

Look at how smart I am.

This is Amir pointing to the apple tree.

This is an apple tree. A lot of them have fallen down.

This is a pear tree. my brother (aqwa) liked them

but I didn't.

This is a rasberry bush. Abah found it first and ate one

then Amir started copying him and ate one aswell then everybody ate one

except me I didn't like it at all.

This is a plum tree. I think out of all the fruits in the farm

the plum was the best, I ate loads.
